In the Shadow of the Valley is an artist’s book detailing the a recent trip to the American Southwest. Contained within a piece of customized luggage, the book contains objects, ephemera, and handmade books. Each object reflects an individual experience in both form and content, attempting to recall a memory from its pieces as a way to recreate the whole.
